Best bullocks, £8 10s; goo 2, £8; best cows, £6 10s; good, J£6. Best beef, 20s per 1001b. December 5. At the- Homebii3h sales better classes of crossbreds were slightly dearer. Wethers, 17s to 17s 8d; ewes, 16s to 17s 6d. CaMe were in heavy supply. Best bullocks, JEB 10s to £9 12s; got-d, £8; best cows, M 10s to £7 16s; good, £Q. Beef, 20s Cd per 1001b. MELBOURNE, December 1. The tallow market is steady, with prices unchanged. Shippers -are operating moderately. Hides are in brisk demand. Prices advanced one-eighth of a penny per pound for kips.
