AUCKLAND WOOL SALES.
AUCKLAND, November 29. The first wool sale of the season was Jield to-day, when prices showed an advance fully averaging 2d per lb all round. Some of the clips realised 3d above last season's opening rates. Two lots of halfbred were passed in at lid to lljd. Average prices: Inferior, 7d to 7|d; longwool, &d to B^d; coarse crossbred, fc£d to 9d ; fine crossbred, 9£d to lOd ; pieces, 6d to B|d. The sales totalled 2500 bales.
