DAMAGES FOR SEDUCTION. .

(From Our Own Correspondent.) LAWRENCE, December 2. The District Court has been occupied, during the past two days hearing the seduction case of Watkins v. John Kirkpatrick. The claim was for £500. Mr Solomon appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr Hanlon for the defendant. Th© case excited a great deal of interest, the court being crowded! throughout the hearing. After a very brief adjournment the Jury returned with a verdict for the plaintiff for the full amount claimed and ooste.
