The well-known Green Hill stud stock of Mr William Taylor, Te Awamutu. was auctioned yesterday by. Messrs M'Nicol and Co. The pricos were considered low for the class of stock. The young Clydesdale stallions Ben M'Cormick, by Ben More, out of Christina F. M'CornMck," two years, realised 210gs ; Ben Nevis, by Ben More — Christina F. MiCorrmck, one year, 120gs; Gallant Ben; by Ben MoreSylvia, one year, 145gs ; Chief Commander, by Field Marshal — Lady Sovereign, five year?. 140gs; Master Deans, by Better Times — Jeannie Deans, five years, 200gs; Gre*n Hill Laddie, by Herd Laddie — Sylvia, four years, 120gs. The imported roadster stallion Lochiel, by Scottie— Maggie More, fetched Ssgs. Of the phorthorn bulls, Duke Godolphin, by Dulce of Ciydevale, a roan, calved November, 1902, realised lOOgs, others ranging from lOgs to 23gs.
