Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report os folio ws —There was an unusually small entry for this week's sale, the numbers being four, useful draughts and nine veiy medium aged harness horses. The demand for both draughts and harness hor3es was good, and all of their changed hands at full values, the foimer at £32 to £49 10s, the last-mentioned figure being obtained for a three-year-o'd gelding by Rus° sell's Fancy, bred by the late Alexander Bannalyne, of Waikouaiti, and harness hoises, v.luch were an inferior lot, at from £5 to £12. We note a much impioved inquiry for diaught hoises, both for the town and for th-e harvest field, and the ss.ne remark as to the state of the market applies to strong han.ess hoiss3, for which at the present time there is an excellent demand. A customer desires to purchase a superior lady's hack, and from any client having one for sale we shall be glad to hear.
