Messrs A Moritzsor and Co., Tyne street, reporc as follows for the week ending February

Whea-t. — Market is quieter. Buyers are inclined to wait for new wheat. We quote- Good velvet, 2s lid to 3s ; Tuscan, 2s lid to 3s ; redchaff, 2s lOd; seconc quality milling, 2s 8d to 2s 9d; fowl feed, 2s 6d to 2s 8d f.o.t. (sacks in).

Oats.— Market is quiet, with few inquiries. We quote: Prime Gartons, Is 3Jd ; good Gartons, Is 2d to Is 3d; Danish, Is Id to Is 2d. Barley. — New samples arc coming tc hand. Good malting, 2s lOd tc 2 lid; feed quality, Is 9d tc 2s.

Potatoes. — Market over supplied. Kidneys, 30& (sacks in).
