Thi3 cup, presented by Messrs J. Speight and Co., City Brewery, Dunedin, to the Dunedin Coursing Club, is to be competed for on Wednesday, May 4, 1904. The cup, which is to be added to the Waterloo Stake, together with about £300 in prize-money, is made of sterling silver, valued at 65 guineas.

Creaghe is a member of the Dune dm Amateur Swimming Club, and holds the championship of New Zealand, which he won at Auckland last year. On January 2 of the present year, he won the 100 yards and quarter-mile championships at the Lyttelton Regatta.
