SCOUL.AR.—On the 26th August, at High street, Duuedin, Andrew, third son of the late James Scoular, Mornington; aged 39 years. SHEPPARp.—On the 25th of August, at Laudef (Becks), John Sheppard; in his seventy-fifth year. STARK.—On the 26th August, at his late residence, Musselburgh, Dunedin, David, the dearly beloved husband of Georgina Stark; • aged 66 years. STEENSON.—On the 29th August, at his lato residence, Alexandra street, Cavorsham (after a long and painful illness, borne with patience), James, the beloved husband of Maiy Ann Stcenson; aged 76 years. Deeply regretted. STONYER.—At her parents' (Daviea) residence, St. Clair, Margaret, the wife of H. M. Stonyer, Timaru; aged 31 years. TUAPIN.—On the 20th August, at Waikiwi, Invercargill, the wife of W. Tuapin—a daughter. TURNBULL.—On the 28th August, at Lauder, Central Otago (by drowning), John Henry, the beloved son of John and Frances Louisa Turnbul!; aged 2J years. '' The Lord gave and the Lord taketh away."
