THE MIDDLEMARCH BRANCH.

A meeting of the Middlemarch branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union was held in Webb's Hall recently, and was w©II attended. Mr J. H. Harrison gave an address on co-operahon, after which it was resolved that the branch give its entire support to the Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association. On the motion of Mr Guild, seconded by Mr Moynihan, it was- resolved to support the Stud Bill in its amended form. It was decided to take no part in the proposed veterinary lectures by Mr Gilruth, the Government expert. A vote of thanks to the chairman brought the m-eeting to a close.
