Thank Yon.

to tiik editor.

Sih, — A week ago we made an appeal for the sum of £10 towards the passage money to Vancouver of a delicate mother and her boy of 12. As in other cases, the response has been both prompt and generous. The donations ranged from 20s to 2s 6d. To all donore alike we give hearty public thanks. Partly through the appeal and partly through private sources the sum of £5 7s has reached Sisters Evelyn Snd Mary, deaconesses of First Church and Knox Church respectively. To myself the total of £5 2s 6d has been most cheerfully given, and 5a promised.

In this matter Sister Evelyn has been the chief agent, but we all gladly co-operate. Any further sums over- tho £10 will be spent in purchasing necessary clothing, etc , for the voyage. — I am, etc., July 2 D. Wright.
