CHRISTCHURCH, July 2.

At a meeting of the Council of the League of New Zealand Wheelmen to-night tho Federal Cycling Council of Australia notified the league that it had d-ecided to recognise New Zealand riders competing in Australia, providing its usual action was reciprocated. The New Zealand Council decided to recognise Australian riders competing in New Zealand. The PaJ-m-erston North Cycling and Athletic Club was affiliated. It was decided to call upon certain amateurs to produce trophies according to the rules. It was decided to suggest to the two clubs in Palmerston North to combine to form a centre for the Manawatu district. Notice of motion was given that the league assume control of automobile racing.
