ST. CLAIR BOWLING CLUB.

The annual meowing of the above club was held on Friday, 26th ult., when there was a geed attendance of members, Mr Dall occupying the chair in the unavoidable absence of the president (llr Gray). In moving the adoption of tha report and balance <>heet, Mr Dall congratulated the members on the continued prosperity of the club, and concluded his remarks by moving a hearty vote of thaaiks to Mr Gray for tho excollent manner in which he had discharged tho duties of his office as president, and eulogised his generosity m defraying aJI the expenses of the picnic to tho Taien Mouth and for top-dressing the green. Of the interclub matches four were won and four lost. Th© competitions for the club prizes resulted as follows- — The Championship, Mr Wilkinson; tho president's priz», Mr Pop*; the vioe-president's prizes Messrs Love and Wilkinson; Mr Ibbotson's prize, Mt Hancock; Mr M'Ginms's prize, Mr Gray. The balance sheet phowod that the receipts were £'61 3s 3d, and that, after paying all accounts, there was a crodit balance of £2 19a 9d.

The officers for the ensuing year were then, elected a? follows-— President, Mr Gray; vicepresidents, Messr3 Dall (re-elected) and T. S. Culling . delegates to the NZ.B.A., Messrs Hancock and Sinclair , sec retary and treasurer, Mr Pope; auditor, Mr Bnrrowes , Match Com-mittee-—Messrs M'Kay, Hancock, Young, and Dall ; Ground Committee — Messrs Hancock, Dall, and Love; Committee of Management 1 — The president, tho vice* presidents, one member of the Match Committee, one member of the Ground Committee^ and the secretary. Votes of thanks having been passed to tha various officers of the club and to the donors of prizes, a very successful meeting was terminated with, the usud,l compliment to ths chair.
