Presentation — On Thursday last a large numb?r of res dents met in the Defence hall to bid good-bye to the l»dy teacher (M-ss Livmgbiotie), who is leaving this district for a better appointment at Kaitangala. Miss Livingsfore will be greatly lmssed by the very young ch'lelrcn, who were, one and all greo-tiy attached to her.

Kokoama — I hear that the sixth [annual school concert at this^ cen'.re comes off on the 14.th inst., it being in aid of the so-hoo! funds.
