It would look very smart made in the new plain flannels, with : bolder around the neck and down the fiont. A small vest of soft white material relieves the sombrencss *f the flannel is dark. In tbia instance it was navy hopsack, with fancy braid trimmir^s. The Pattern No. -3031 is cut in' five sizes, 32, 34, 36, 38, and 40 inches bust measure, and requires. 2£yds of 38in material for the 36in size. This illustration is drawn from one of the "Model" paper patterns, which are issued from the office of The New Idea, 167-9 Queen street, Melbourne, and can be obtained either direct frorr that office oi from agents.
