FOOTBALL MEETINGS.
GREEN ISLAND CLUB
The annual meeting of the Greeu Island Association Football Club weib held in the Protestant Alliance Hall on Thursday evening, a fair number of members being present. In the absence of the president, Mr W. G. Smith was elected to the chair, and, after moving the adoption of the annual report, made a few remarks in connection with the welfare of the club, and congratulated them on being in a sound financial position. The election of office-bearers for the ensuing season resulted aa follows :-»Pres* dent, Mr W. M'Donald (reelected); vice-presidents — Hon. A. Lee Smith, Messrs D. Reid, M.H.R., J. Loudon, J. Sm'ellie, A. Houlston, H. Stott, C. Samson, ssn., W. Moreland, J. Dempster, R. Prebble, and W. 2\ r ash; secretary and treasurer, Mr T. Irvine; ' General Committee — Messrs W. Smith, C. Moreland, W. M'Lean, W. Crimp, A. Giant, A. Taylor, and J. Dempster; delegates to the 0.F.A., Messrs W. G. Smith and T. Irvine; delegate to Sports Protection Association, Mr W. M'Lean. After the usual vote of thanks to the press and the chairman the meeting was brought to a close.
