Dunedin No. 2 v. Grange. The above match was commenced on the North Ground on Saturday. Chadwick, winning the toss, elected to bat, and the total reached 165 before the Grange Were all disposed of. Wilson bowled well, and secured five wickets for 23. With about half an hour to bat, Dunedin sent in M'Lennan and Fleming. The latter touched a fast one from A. Downes, which Baker accepted in the slips. Melville joined M'Lennan, and successfully played out time-, the .score standing at 13 for one wicket. Scores -. — Grange. — First Innings.

DtrxEDijf No. 1 v. Port. The above match was commenced at Port on Saturday. Port, batting first, totalled 37, Ward (11), D. Jack (13) making most of the runs, Latham (seven for 14) and Vorrett (three for 20) being very deadly with the ball. The Dunedin on going in to bat did very little better than Port, as they were all disposed of for 40, none of the batsmen reaching double figures. T. Downes (four for 16) and Jackson (four for 22) both bowled well. Tho Port on going in a second time did much better, their total being 51 for two wjekets when stumps were drawn. Scores:
