The Future.
In entering on the new year of work, let us remember that the years fly fast, and that in our efforts there can be no pause. It is estimated that about 20,000 new voters come of tge between the polls. One union I know of keeps a voter's birthday book, in which every lass and lad over 18 of whom they know is entered, and ths women make a serious though seeming-playful business of the education o! these young people, thus securing many votes." Let us all watch to help these coming voters to & sense of public duty, so that the bells that are already ringing the knell of the Liquor Traffic may soon Ring out the want, the care, the sin, The faithless coldness of the times; Sing out, ring out my mournful rhymes, But ring the fuller minstrel in. Ring in the valiant man and free, The nobler h«*rt, the kindlier hand; Ring out the darkness of the land, Ring in the Christ that is to be. L. If. Areixsosr.
