OTAGO LAND BOARD.

The regular meeting of the Otago Land Board was held on Thursday morning, there being present Messrs D. Barron (chief commissioner), Clark, Dallas, and Kirkpatrick. The board was requested to determine a3 to how pastoral run section 28, block VII, Table Hill district, passed in at last auction sale, should be dealt with. — Run to be offered at an upset rental of £S per annum. The Waitaki and "Waihemo County Councils forwarded statements of proposed expendituie of "thirds" and "fourths'' for period 7th October, 1902, to 3rd Januaiy, 1903.— Approved. The board considered the application by Martin 'Franklin to purchase 2 acres adjoining the south-east corner of section 65, block VI, Tuapeka West district. The warden forwarded a report.— Application granted; capital value, £2 per acre ; survey fees to be deposited. James Henry Truesdale applied for 100 acres on Matakanui run on lease-in-perpetuity, adjoining section 9, block VII, Lauder district. — Held over.
