A NICE CATCH OF TROUT FROM THE WAIAU RIVER, WEIGHING 1591b5, Caught by Messrs W. M. Tarleton (on left), F. T. B. Walker, Geo. Robertson, and F. H. Wilson (on right). The rods used were 16ft, with extra strong lines, and the lure was the " Waiau Special Minnow," made by Mr F. T. B. Walker, a local angler.
