Country Sales.— Dalgety ' and Co. (Limited) report having held their monthly sale at Waikouaiti on Thursday, 11th inst., when they yarded and sold 43 head of cattle and 75 sheep. There was a good attendance at the sale, and nearly the whole yard was cleared at full market rates. Oats : The demand at' present is confined to best milling. Feed sorts, in the absence of inquiry fiom oufside, are only saleable m small lots for local consumption. The quantity still on hand is small, and the idea prevails that after the holidays are over there will r.ot, immediately after, be sufficient for requirements.
