NEW ZEALAND PRODUCE IN LONDON.
WELLINGTON, November 24. The following cable has been received from ihe Agent-general, dated London, 22nd inst. : — " Mutton market steady. The quantity of mutton going into consumption at present is very small. Average price to-day: Canterbury mutton, lid per lb; D lined in. Southland, md
"W.M-.E. Co. mutton, 4Jd; other North Island mutton, 4id. There is a dull sale for all lamb. The weather latterly has been very unfavourable to the sale of lamb. The average price to-day for New Zealand lamb js: Canterbury brands, 5Jd; iamb other than Canterbury, figd. There is a better demand for beef. Stocks of New Zealand beef on hand are light. New Zealand hinds, sd; fores, 4id. The butter market is steady. There is a better demand for butter; choicest, 112s. There has been no alteration in the ehees« market since last week. There is a better demand tor henip. The price for New Zealand good fair "Wellington grade on the spot to-day is £32 10s per ton; December-February shipments, £30."
