THE WOOL SALES.
LONDON, November 18. . The .wool arrivals to date are 107,500 -bales; forwarded to manufacturing districts, 33,000 bales ; available for sales 101,000 bales. Messrs Dalgety and Co. report having received the •following cable from their head office, dated London, 17th November: "The list of arrivals for the next series of wool sales is closed. The mew arrivals have amounted to 108,000 bales, of which 33,000 bales have been forwarded direct to manu- | faefnrrers at Home and abroad, leaving 101,000 bales available for sale. Private sales since the close of last series have amounted to a small quantity." Messrs Dalgety and Co. (Limited)" report having received the following^, cable from their head office, dated London, November 19 : — " Wool market very firm. Expeot a rise at next sales of from 5 to 10 per cent."
