A MONTH'S HOLIDAY.
NO LETTERS TO BE SENT IN BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 12 AND OCTOBER 12. Dear Little Folk,— l have a pile of 150 letters before me, and what is to be done with them is a veritable puzzle. I cannot condense them all, can I? And yet, together with those the editor has in hand, and the number of, others that will coma in before this appears in print, I am sure there will he sufficient for four weeks. So what else can Ido but declare a four weeks' holiday for all my corresponding friends. It is a long time, but I Can see that no less a period would do, so there must be NO LETTERS POSTED BETWE&A SEPTEMBER 12 AND OCTOBER 12, by which time I hope -all the letters ia hand will be cleared off, and we shall commence afresh. I hope all L.F. will attend to this, and that no one will post a single letter till the time fixed upon expires.— Yours huly, ♦ . DOT.
