Robertson's Guide.— Mi GeoTge lUay, Aberdeen, who holds the copyright of that famous draughts book, "Robertson's Guide," and who assisted materially in the preparation of the original work for the press, is reported to be now busy revising the play, and bringing it more "up-to-date," with a view to publishing a second edition.

Melbourne Draughts Club.— The handioap tournament was finished on Saturday, August 2. There were 11 entries, and the possible member of points from scratch was 40.
