THE KUROW J.C ANNUAL MEETING.
In this issue is advertised the programme of the Kurow J.C. annual meeting, which is set down for Thursday, the 2nd of October. The principal events on the card are the Otekaike- Handicap, run over five furlongs, and the Jockey Clnb Handicap, pun over six fntloog* Each of these race* have been, iinrorsased in value to 50aoy», minus Saovs for the second horse. A mile and a-half trot of 25sovs and" a mile trot of 2Qsov«' are- found figuring oa the card. Other open races are .a Maiden. Plate, 2Saova r w.f.a., six furlongs, and a Selling Race, of 15eo*s. In addition to. the above, there is. a District Maiden of 1630V5, and a District Hack of lJkov. The- ekrb have drawn up an attractive programme, and the increased prize- «n«waey should meet with the reward of increased fields. Nomination* for the principal events are due? on Saturday, 13th, weights on the 23rd, and acoepancet on the 27th of September. Ehtrie* for the minor events are due on the 27th of September.
