It was resolfpd that tenders be called for the privfleges for 12 moni/hs. A letter was received from the Press Company asking tJie club to vote a bonus towards publication of New 'Zealand Turf Register.— lt vrtis decided that £10 IDs should bo voted on the utual conditions.
A letter was received from Mr J. Brensell, owner oi Visionary, asking the cJub to inquire iato the ownership of Red Banner, who nas awarded the stake* in the Abbotsford Welter Hantlicap fit last autumn meeting. — It was -decided to reply that tlie committee was of opinion that the objection was too late, and could not be entertained
A letter was .received from Mr T. Bud<licambe roquestmg a further grant from thfc Jockeys' Fund, as he was still in the Hospital. — It ns resolved to grant 30s s ■week for four weeks.
It was decided to allot the wme amount «T added money aa last year for the ensuing year's programme. It was resolved that bookmakers and totpbettors be not allowed on the course at any meerkig during the year.
