TA HUNA PARK TROTTING CLUB.

The following is a copy of the annual repoit of the Tahuna Park Trotting Club (season 1901-1902), which is to be presented at the annual meeting of members* on Friday, August 8 —

The committee now submit to members the annual statement of accounts up to the 31si< July.

'JLiie year started with a debit balance of JEIS9 9s sd. The club were unfortunate with their spring meeting, which shows a loss of JEI4I 17s lid; the other two meetings resulted in a fair profit, and we finish up the season with a debit balance of £189 4s Id, thus showing a loss on the transactions of £29 14s Bd. As- against this we have several good assets, which when paid will considerably reduce our liability. The committee would recommend that the spring meeting in future be held later in the season, as it has always resulted in a loss. The Otago A. and P. Society have agreed to erect a substantial grand stand with all necesBary appliances and office accommodation, and your committee are pleased to report that they have arranged with the society as to renting the stand, which we hope will be ready for our first meeting. The president, vice-piesident, and three members of committee retire annually,,and in accordance with the rules the following have been proposed for election. —President, Mr S. S. Myers, vice-president, Hon. H. Gourley; committee (of whom three .have to be elected) — Messrs C. Allen, jun., R. G. Hudson, J. Jeffs, J. A. Millar, M.H.R., and J. M'Donald.
