SINjCLAIR SCHOLARSHIP. One SCHOLARSHIP of £70 a Year, tenable for three years, is ofiered for Comnetition in OCTOBER NEXT. This Scholarship ;s open to all persons (male or female) born :n the Colony of New Zealand who at the time of examination shall be between the a#es of 16 and 20 years, and who have not kept torrus or attended lectures or held a Scholarship in any University or College, and who shall satisfy the Council of the College that neither they nor their parents or guardians can obtain for them a University education without pecuniary aid. The holder of this Scholarship will not be allowed to hold concurrently a Junior University Scholarship. Candidate* are required to give in their names on or before OCTOBER 1 to the Registrar, from whom further information may be obtained.
