QUEEN'S MEMORIAL STATUE. When erected in position the Statue will be a worthy memorial of the great Queen it is intended to represent, and will be one of the beat works of art in the Colony. The Statue represents Queen Victoria, in the prime of life, in a standing position, wearing her crown and robes, and holding her sceptre in her hand.
