lately in connection with the -West Taieri School at Woodside. which realised over £30, and \^ Inch is to be expended m improving the •=chool grounds. The playground lias been drained, and the other work will shortly be gone on with.
Social. — A. Social Club has been lately formed Al AVoodside, which merts twice a week in the old schoolhouse, and which promises to be a gieat success Songs, recitations, diaughts, and other games form the staple amusements of the e\eaiiip, and in these the nmnibeis seem hcarti'y <.o participate.
