The secretary of the Alexandra, Bonanza Gold Dredging and Sluicing Company reports that the manager washed up for 30ioz for th* paddock. Mr J. J. Ram«ay reports ihe Patterson's Freehold icturn for last week a3 270z. The secretary of the Teviot G D. Omipanv reports a return of 63gz lTdwt 12gr for 134 hours' dredging. The cire^gemaster states that he has finished re hyping the buckets. The secretary of the New Alpine Consols Company reports a return of 7Soz 15dwt for the week." The return from the Gold King dredge is 20oz Odwt for 97 hours' working tlr.s w«ek. The dredge was shifted to the cast side of the claim on Saturday, 19th, and started chedgmgon Monday about IS chains out in the rivei, getting bottom at 37ft on Thursday afternoon. The secretary of tho Great Woodstock Gold Dredging Comnany, Kpnieri, reports a return of lloz 16dwt for 107 hours' work. The dredgemaster reports that the timber is proving very troublesome.

The secretary of the Rise and Shine Company reports a return of 400z = 4dwt for 54 boms dredging. The prospects are good, and the machinery is running very well The secretary" of the Monte Christo Company reports a return of 440z 4dwt for the week. The dredgemnster states that he is working to a depth of 23ft, that the lead is well defined, and that the prospects are still fair.
Tko dredgema-ster of the Unity dredge reports a return of 530z for 132 hours' work, and states that he ran into old ground on Thursday night. The Meg and Annie's return was 530z 16dwt for 135 hours' dredging time last week. The dredgemaster wires that he is now working on soft bottom, having got beyond the hard re-ef whici. showed tip during the preceding week, and that he is dredging from side to side of the river.
Tke return fioni the Champion dredge last week was 15oz 16dwt of gold. The saucing claim gave a Teturn of lloz lldwt 12gr. The secretary of the Kelly and Casey Company repofts a return of 3tioz lldwt lor 13 S hours' work. The dredgemaster reports that the river has risen slightly.

The secretary of the Matau Company reports a return of lOoz for four days' dredging. The dredgemaster tried during the week to shift the dredge down below Muttontown Gully to a spot where Roll is known to exist in the east bank, but owing to the very low river he was unable to carry his project into effect, and had to resume where he was working before. The dredgemaster of the Island B'.oek dredge reports that he washed up on Friday for soz Cdwt. He is shifting the dredge into the open f SICG. The secretary of the Gabriel Gold Dredging Company reports a return of 19oz sdwt for 125 hours' -work. The dredge has been working on the road side, but will start on the creek side this -week. The dredgemaster of the Prince Arthur dredge wires stating that he i<* still pushing up the river to virgin, ground. He washed up 4oz for the week. The dredgemauter of the Upper Waipori Go.d Dredging Company Teports having resumed work on Sunday at midnight. Messrs Sievwright Bros, and Co. report having sold, by private contract, the New Electric Extended Company's dredge at the price of £1375, on terms, to the Cromwell Gold Dredging Company. There was no wash up from the Olrig dredge on Saturday, as the dredge was under repair during the greater part of last week. The dredgemaster of tho New Halfway House dredge wire 3 that he resumed dredging on Fnduy morning, and consequently there nas no wash up last week. The Mataura Ensign states that the Victoria Vannumu "Dredging Company has decided to go into voluntary liquidation, and Mi J. A. Yule has been appointed liquidator.
