THE ELECTRIC GOLD DREDGING COMPANY.

At a meeting of the directors of the Electric Gold Dredging Company' on Saturday it was decided to purchase the Magnetic dredge for- the sum of £1250. The Magnetic is a sister dredge to the other owned by the Electric Company (the Lady Kanfurly), and a 9 she is in fair order she will probably be at work before long, especially as she has only to be shifted from the adjoining claim. The Electric Company has two miles of the river, so there is plenty of ground for two dredges, and shareholders will have the advantage of getting the gold out, and consequently of receiving their dividends in half the time that would elapse if only one machine were employed. The directors have also declared another dividend of 4s per share, payable on August S. This represents a distribution of £5200 amougst shareholders, who have already received some 30s per shaie 111 dividends.
