Notes from Greymouth. (From Our Own Correspondent.) GREYMOUTH, July 15.

The return from the Grey Extei.ded dredge is. 9oz 12dwt. The dredge is working on top drift mateiial, about 6ft deep. It will continue to work in the same material this v.-eek m order , to get i.ito a safe position. The Kohinoor return last week was 21oz. The dredge is now right to the bore hole that gave such excellent piospects. The Garibaldi dredge is idle, having broken a wheel. The foundry :re. effecting repairs, and it is thought the dredg* will get a start en Thursday. The n»w tumbler for the Ford's Creek dredge was finished to-day, and will be sent up in the morning, so that the machine should resume work on Thursday.. The Commissioner's Flat dredge is working well, running three shuts. Tho screen has been closed up to prevent the silt going over the tubles. The Maori Gully dr-'dge is working well opening out a paddock. The Aldinga dredge is piacticjlly completed. The local foundry ure -ittending to a few matters. A turn out of the machrjeiy should bo obtained in a couple d days. July 16. A report from the Garden Gully Quartz Claim states that 20ft ha 3 been ttnven during the week.
