THE MARRIAGE OF A POPULAR
COMEDIAN.

The most important event in theatrical circles last week was the marriage of Mr Will Percy, of Polhird^s Opera Company, to Miss Jessie Ramsay, of this city, and who is a member of Pollard's Opera Company. The ceremony took place at the residence of the bride's sister, Mrs WakefieldHolmec, Manor place, on Tuesday last. The Rev. Dr Waddell performed the cer< u-uy. hots, and wore gold charms and chains, the gifts of the bridegroom. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a diamond brooch. The bride's wedding drees was of fawn poplin, bodice made in Russian style, and long-trained skirt ; the bodice handsomely trimmed with gold and twine point lace, large brown velvet collar mounted with beaver; hat of cream panne velvet, draped, brim of cream lace relieved with brown velvet and sable tails. The travelling dress was of brown face cloth, richly trimmed with seal ; brown velvet and twine lace triple pkirt ; brown straw toque trimmed with large bunches of violets and torquoise blue silk. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Alex. Gilchrist. The bride *6 mother wore a handsome black brocade dress, with velvet jacket, trimmed with caracul and silk passementerie, jet bonnet, with gold embroidery and black tips. Mrs A. E. Donne, a very smart black glace and velvet gown, the bedice relieved with medallions of point d'Alencon lace and black chiffon, black and cream picture hat. Mrs F. Wakefield-Holmes, pale heliotrope Russian bodice, trimmed sequin insertion, chiffon ruffle and black velvet hat with feathers. Mrs Jas. T. Laing, very handsome silk Russian -bodice, trimmed sequin insertion with vest of white chiffon and cream lace; tucked skirt, with flounces; black velvet hat, draped cream lace, grey bird on brim. Mrs Johnstone. blue satin foulard, with white chiffon trimmings and violets, black feather hat. Mrs T. Pollard, black flounced skirt, silk bolero, wtih Maltese lace front, felt velvet that.
