STILLWATER CREEK GOLD DREDGING COMPANY.
The directors of the Stiihvp.ter Creek G.D. Company will submit the following report foi the year ended March 31 at the first annual meeting of shareholders "In accordance with the resolution of shareholders at the last annual meeting, matters ihave been allowed to remain in abeyance until the adjoining claim had been proved. There appears to be a good prospect" of the Maon Gully Company being Fttccesaful, and your directors have entered into negotiations for acquiring a suitable dredge, but these negotiations have not been concluded. Two of the directors — Messrs A. James and A. Smail! — retire, as also does the auditor (Mr F. W. M. Jones)." The balance sheet shows that at the beginning of the last financial year the company h;;d a debit balance of £599 Ss 9d, and the expenses during the 12 months amounted to £-i t 17s 9d, making a total debit of £684 6s 6d, with which to commence the current year. The nominal capital is £5000, but the vendors' shares and 1339 contributing shares have not been allotted. The sum of £2 10s in calls has Ijeen paid in advance, but there is a sum of £670 17s in arrears on the remainder. The company owes £14 6s 8d to sundry creditors, while the balance in the bank is £59 19s 2d.
