Whose excellence has been publicly tested and approved, is often basely imitated by unscrupulous rivals, who, utterly regardless of reputatation, morality, and law, endeavour to filch the profit of its rightful owner, and take mean advantage of his labor and expenditure in bringing a reliable production into general consumption. Wolfe's Schnapps has been no exception to this fraud. There have been nearly 100 prosecutions by Government and agents against importers and vendors of counterfeits, and the Supreme Courts of New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland, have all granted injunctions prohibiting the sale of imitations. The public, in its own interest, should help to exterminate these evil and injurious practices. The signature of Udolpho Wolfe is printed on the label of every genuine bottle of his Schnapps. Purchasers having imitations foisted upon them are requested to forward full particulars to Udolpho Wolfe Company, P.O. Box 1 149, New York, or to their Australian Address, Box 250, G.P.O.Sydney.
