OAMARU MARKET REPORT.
Messrs A. Montzson and Co., Tyiie street, report for week ending April 9 — Wheai. —There has been a smart advance in the price of prime lines, as owing to the wet woathei very fow prime =amples are offering. We quote. Prime Tuscan and redchaff, 3s 5d to 1* 6d ; velvet, 3s 5d to 3s s^d. Oats.—There is very little inquiry for thccc, and orly prime lines are placed without difficulty. We quote Prime milling, 2s 2d; Danish and Duns, 2s Ogd to 2s Id. Potatoes.—OwiMg to the floods having done considerable damage to the crops, sellers are very firm. We quote prime Derwents at 55s (sacks'included) at country sidings. The above quotations are all delivered at store, Oamaru, sacks extra, except where otherwi3c mentioned.
