5GOLD DREDGING IN BRITISH COLUMBIA. The Fraser River Gold Dredging Company's dredge is managed by Mr P. Graham, who has with him Mr J. Watt, as dredgemaster. They are both New Zealanders, who learned their dredging on the Molyneux. The photo shows the dredge completely frozen m with ice up to 2ft in thickness. A companion picture shows the dredge in the distance, with the ice in the river flowing past at about 7 miles .an hour, and even with the river flowing at that pace the river freezes completely over at different places.
