DUNEDIN PRESBYTERY.

A meeting of the Dunedin Presbytery k&s held on Tuesday morning in Fir3t Church Hall to discuss the question of church extension in and around Dunedin. Tho Moderator (the Rev. W. Scorgie) presided. The question was considered in private. The presbytery recognised the necessity of ihome mission work being done iv Dunedin and its neighbourhood, and resolved to remit the whole matter to the office-bearers of the various congregations, and prepared B. series of questions to be submitted to them, the answers to he forwarded to the presbytery's committee. An application from the Waikouaiti congregation for a grant for ehuroh repairs Was approved. In connection with the Rev Dr Wad doll's Return to Dunedin, tha Rev. .1.
