PICNICS AND SPORTS.

TAIERI AND PENINSULA MILK SUPPLY COMPANY. The annual picnic of the employees of the Taien and Peninsula Milk Supply Company (Limited) was held at Henley on Wednesday last. The party proceeded to Henley by special train, where on arrival they did full justice to the good dinner provided for them by Host M'Kegs in the large hall adjoining the hotel. After dinner a start was made for a. trip to the Taien Mouth in the btoamer Waiwera, ai.d the outinf was highly appreciated by all. Qu rotuxzunj? the usual gamea and races were irdulged in, and after tea the party weiuLd their way to the railway station for the homeward journey. The weather was perfect, and one and all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Host M'Kegg catered for the party in excellent style, and through his efforts one and all voted ikg fitttitt* a, thoiflu^h tweao.
