Picnic — The Presbyterian Sunday Schco' pionic, generally a very pleasant outing for old and young, was to have been held yesterday at Mr KyftVs, but wet weather forbade, pnd it was held this afternoon in tho Sunday school 100 m nes.r the manse. The tourney "kiddies" wou'd miss their annual ride up country very much.

County Council —Mr Charles Wood, lately counlv chairman, has resigned his aeat on tho council, b»ing about to take a trip to the old cofitry, and an election to fill the cxtraordil.aiy vacancy will be held in the Con way riding-, if more than one member is nominated.
