"ilarch 15.— Our bill cf fare, meteorologically speaking, has, since last I wrote, been rather variable, but upon the whole fairly favourable to harvest operations ; consequently we are well advanced with the garnering of our grain crops, which, I am pleased to note, will give a good average yield — equal to that of the past few seasons, notwithstanding the gloomy outlook at the beginning oi the present year.
