The Southland Sawmilling Company were granted right to lay % tramway from section 73, block 111 to section 33, block V, Oteramika, a distance of two miles 70 chains; also light to cut manuka along the line for fascinmg pin poses.

An application from Ralph Scott for rebate of rent on section 28, block VIII, Waiau-Mern-vale, 37G acres, on account of rough nature of ground a:.d failure of crops, was refused. Peter M'Leod applied to sublet portion o[ nastoial Run 110 a, 430 acres, Hokonui, to J. B. Giaham, applicant undertaking to pay all rents. — (jianttd.

Kmzctt for pmchase of timber for firewood, posts, and stakes, on abandoned sawmill areas 232 and 311, Taringatura, over which Kmzett lias a grazing license, and asked to know their position.— To be informed that board disallows agreement, and that they have 110 right to cut timber on the land.
