A sale took place on Monday week at 7s 9d, two on Thursday at 7s 6d, and two on Friday at 7s Sd. On Monday week Greenstone Junctions were in the market at 26s 6d, without buyers, but sellers then came down to 255, "buyers offering 24s 6d most of the time. Sales took place during the week at 25s and 24s 6d. The closing rates for Hokitika Rivers on Monday week were 13a 3d and 15s 6d, but the stock ■weakened a little during the week. Leaning Rocks weie easy until Saturday, when they commenced to improve, a parcel being taken up at 15s. A further advance was noticeable on Monday, when two lots changed hands at 15s 3d, with additional buyers at 15s and sellers at 153 6d. On Monday ■week Meg and Annies were inquired for at 235, with sellers at 245, 6d, and the stock hardened till Saturday, but shows signs of casing again now. Sales were made during the week at 20s 9d and 21s. Buyers of Nelson Creeks have advanced from 49s on Thursday to 525, while sellers have gone from 54s 6d to 55s 6d. North Beaches were in the market a week svgo at 17s, with buyers at 12s 6d, but the stock has now dropped to 10s for buyers and 14s for sellers. Sales were made at 12s 6d, 12s, and lls GJ on Friday. A sale of No Town Creeks were effected at 24s on '-Monday iveek, when further buyers offered 255, with sellers at 26s Od. An advance took place the following day, when sales took place at 263, but the stock has eased since, sales taking place at 25s 3d on Wednesday and Friday. A parcel changed hands at 24s yesterday, after which buyers offered 23s 9d, holders wanting 245. Buyers of Olrigs have advanced from 12s to 13s 9d, aud sellers from 32s 6d to 14s 6d. A sale was recorded on Monday at 14.=. Pactolus shares have improved, a good deal. On Monday week the best offer from buyers was 33s 6d p, with sellers at 36s p, but on Wednesday sales toak place at 36s 6d p and 36s p, on Friday at 3Ss 9d p and 39s p, and on Saturday at 39s p. The best offer from sellers yesterday was 39s 6d p, buyers closing at 39s p in the morning and 38s 6d p in the afternoon.
