DATES OF DEPARTURE.

The troopship Surrey is to leave Wellington at 4- o'clock this afternoon, and is expected to get away from Auckland on Saturday evening. She will call at Sydney and Albany, end finally land the men at Durban.

The Cornwall, with the South Island battalion of the eighth contingent, is expected to leaije Lyttelton on Wednesday next, and will go direct to Albany, probably arriving there about the same time as the Surrey. Colonel Davies, with his staff, will be jl passenger by the Surrey.
