NEW ZEALAND FATALITIES NELSON, February 3

The Right Hon. the Premier has received through his Excellency the Governor the following cable from General Kitchener, dated January 31 : — " Poisoned by chloroform at Howick, on January 30, No. 4516 Thomas Drenton, of Seventh New Zealand Mounted Infantry Died of enteric, at Wakkerstroom, Sergeant William Moore, of the New Zealand Mounted Infantry. [No. 4516, according io the official list, is Private Thomas Henry M'Dougall Drennan, whoso mother resides at Outram, on the Taieri Plain, and it is feared that the name is wrong in the cable and that the message refers to him. Sergeant Moore's death was referred to in thet-e columns yesterday.]
