LOOK UP AND FEAR NOT.

Fear not to die. The Eternal King At thy last hour shall comfort bring. Trust in Hi's word, and death shall prove The golden gate of life and love.

Fear not to die. Death's lonesome vale Should fright thee not. He will not fail Who is a light, a guide, a friend, To lead thee, cheer thee, to the end. Fear not to die. God dcth not joy Even a sparrow to destroy : For every pang that tears thine heart Joys thousandfold He will impart. Fear not to die. 'Tis but a breath That measures all the pangs of death. 'Tis but a stroke of Time that knells - ' A generation's sad. farewells.

Tear not to die. By faith, by prayer, Thy soul may triumph o'er despair; Think what a glorious hope we have In Christ beyond the gloomy grave! Fear not to die. When o'er thy bed Thy brethren weep their loved one dead, The Lord shall mark their bitter grief, And send their heavy hearts relief. Fear not to die. The pain, the strife, That strain the silver threads of life, Like a sad dream, shall melt away In the bright dawn of, deathless day.

Fear not to die. Above the cloud That doth the dying Christian shroud Soon, shall his soul ecstatic soar, To dwell in bliss for evermore. January, 1902. — H. J. B
