The Go 1 den Crescent party finished their paddock late lest Saturday, when they got 360z of unclcaned gold, which is estimated to return SOoz when cleaned. They got 8802 before, co that the result for the nine weeks' work in this paddock is very good, considering the hard clay they have had to contend against. They are busy shifting thoir plant at present. The next paddock wit be easier to pend away. Another dividend (th-3 fifth) of a shilling was declared by the directors on the 7tli inst., making 5s 6d paid in a'?.

Mr A. M. Wakefield, who has been manager of the Lawrence dredge for some time back, takes charge as manager of the Happy Valley drc-dge this morning, Trbile Mr T. Donaldson, the late manager, takes charge of the Waitahuaa. Gully dredge.
