GREY DUCK GOLD DREDGING COMPANY.
An extraordinary meeting of the Giey Duck Gold Dredging Company was held at the company's office on Thursday afternoon. Mr E. A. Tapper (chairman of directors) presided, and seven shareholders were present.
The Chairman's question as to whether any Cf the shareholders present wished to delay proceedings in order to enable the directors to negotiate for the rjurchase of a dredge and claim being met with a decided negative, he called upon someone present to move the resolution on the notice paper.
In reply to a question, the Chairman said that in the event of liquidation there was no likelihood of the vendors makin<? any claim. It was moved by Mr W. T. Monkman, and seconded by a Shareholder, and carried — " That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by Teason of its liabilities, continue it 3 business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily."
Mr G. M. Maclean was appointed liquidator, at a remuiu ration of £15 13s, and the meeting terminated.
