The returns are incomplete, but in fust round Brunskill and Lawson (3D) beat Lindsay and Wiison (5). Humphrys and Withy (25) beat Grc-eiislade and Collins (18). Geddes and Chuichw?rd (37) beat Reid and Cooper (12). Corliss and Ellis (27) beat Pateison and Keesing (17). Collet and Shearer (20) beat Hill and ikTGlasban (19). Allnutt and M'Laren $2) beat Nathan and Eagleton (16). In the second round Allnutt and M'Laren Lpat Jeffrey and Keast by 2 points, and aie now playing in the third round against Geddes aud Churchward, being 3 down with 8 heads to go. CorlißS aud E!hs (18) succumbed m the second round to V.'akelin and Itaison, whilst Smith and Findlay (Invercargill, 25) kept their place in the running, boating Phmmer and Waddell (10) and also Bnghtwell and D'Emden by 4 points. Tho fourth round of the rinks will commence in the morning, and it is expected that the Pairs will finish by Wednesday, when the Singles will be gone on with ; but at present the weather does not look promising. The conditions under which the day's piay were carried out enfrcly precluded the possibility of any true form being shown. Luck and chance breezes were responsible for many of the results.
